These are wonderfully clear and warm sounding speakers that will make listening more fun.
Klipsch’s Synergy SB-2 speakers fit easily on any bookshelf. These are not huge speakers physically (15 x 7.3 x 9.75 inches) but their sound is plenty big. Of course there are smaller speakers on the market, but the depth that comes out of these is powerful.
You know how some bookshelf speakers have that high-pitched sound that’s not supposed to be there, and that static-y background noise? Well, these Klipsch speakers don’t have that. The sound is so clear you can hear every breath the singer takes! I love it.
The music sounds so full and warm coming out of these. I love the way that even high-pitched notes don’t sound painful; in fact, everything is totally clear and enjoyable. These really take listening to music with bookshelf speakers to a whole new dimension.
These Klipsch Synergy SB-2’s have a much better sound quality compared to the Athena AS-B1.2 speakers. Those tended to sound a little cheap and their sound was nowhere near as full bodied as the Klipsch. The difference is staggering and if quality of sound is important to you when it comes to speakers, then you’re going to get a real kick out of the Klipsch Synergy SB-2 speakers.
I was on the lookout for something to go wrong with these but even when I went through the volume levels, I found nothing to complain about. The transition was utterly seamless. The music sounded rich and clean at very low volumes as well as at higher ones and that’s pretty rare, especially in bookshelf speakers.
I’m a big fan of these Klipsch Synergy SB-2 speakers and I think once you’ve heard them, you will be too.
