WHY Speaker Stands?
Speaker Stands are used to place speakers at an optimal listening level and to reduce resonance from the floor or surface that may color the sound in an unwanted manner. The height can be adjusted to move the speakers up and down to achieve the best positioning and there are often paths for the wires to be hidden into the speaker. Getting them off the floor or shelf and onto stands provides for more detail in the listening experience and better replicates the intended sound of the recording.
